Bermuda 2011

We love Bermuda.  Pink sands, Blue skies, turquoise waters and rippling waves.

This trip was really even more fun.  We were own photographers meaning that I would frame the shot and run to be part of the photo.  Was it easy? Well - let me just say that Rose and I agree that I did get a lot of exercise during our time there.

Bermuda is already a beautiful place to visit.  Even more beautiful when you are with the one you love !

Anik and Patrick - Just Married !!

What a great way to start the month by seeing 2 wonderful families being united in marriage.  After photographing their prenuptial photos back in March, the time has finally arrived that Anik and Patrick are sealed in marriage for time and all eternity at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple in Longueuil, Quebec.  Hard to believe how time does fly when you start seeing the children of your close friends get married.

Indeed Anik and Patrick were destined to be together.  After their first meeting at a Youth Conference, it was just a matter of time when this special moment would arrive for the two of them.

Monic and Jac Nuptial

Monic and Jac tied the knot !!!

Monic and Jac started taking ballroom lessons with Rose and I last year.  What an amazing way to get to know each other better than on the dance floor.  As we found out this night, Monic and Jac spent many hours on the phone after our dance lesson.  What a wonderful wedding.  What a wonderful couple.  Congratulations to Monic and Jac!!

Anik and Patrick - Engaged !!

What a fun evening filled with a surprise for the bride-to-be.  Anik and Patrick had asked me to take photos for them to include as part of their engagement invitation.  I was really thrilled to have them ask me as I have known Patrick since his primary school days.

Most of the photos were taken in and out of the  Holiday Inn Select hotel in Montreal Chinatown area.  The main lobby is really amazing with its Marbled bridges crossing the pond filled with Kois.  Rose and I have stayed at this hotel several times and are very satisfied with the hospitality service provided.  Rooms and restaurant meals are great.  The breakfast buffet was mine and the kids favorite.  If you were to ask what was Rose's favorite, I'm pretty sure she would say the Spa (and I would have to agree also).  Out of courtesy, be mindful that only guests staying at the hotel can use the lounge area for photographs.  So be sure to stay a night and have a good rest after taking your beautiful pictures.

Rebecca and Bruno

We have been blessed to have been part of Rebecca's extended family at church. We have seen her grow up from her Primary days to a beautiful and kind Young Adult.  Along came her Bruno, Her Prince Charming.  As you can see below, they are definitely a match made in Heaven and have been Sealed in Marriage throughout Time and Eternity.

One of the Special Moments Rose and I had the pleasure of capturing which we felt deserved a special place.

Mona

Mona Charles ... a talented singer and vocal coach.  See the details at the bottom for more info !!

Our Photo Session was like a small party.  I played some music to which Mona sang along with and definitely  got her comfortable in her role as singer.  She even pointed me to a YouTube site that had an artist called KASSAV from her home country singing "OH, MADIANA".  THAT got her singing and dancing which showed off her special talent.  She is getting her website done so once I have that info, I will share that along with all of you.  Meanwhile, you can contact me if you need her to sing at your Wedding or any special event.

CCFAQ Cotillon Ball 2011

A birthday celebration in honour of 5 young women turning 18 and presented to society.  It was a great evening filled with entertainment and distinguished guests.  Special guests included the Honorable Justin Trudeau and Mayor Applebaum.  A special Viennese Waltz  were presented by the debutants and their escorts.  A very wonderful evening.
